Visitors who are simply reading the website are not given cookies by it.

Optional enquiry draft

If you tick “Keep my travel preferences in this browser tab” in the enquiry form, your trip preferences are kept in this tab’s session storage under the name lynksafe-trip-draft-v1 for up to two hours. Your name, email address and telephone number are never saved in the draft.

Unticking the box or choosing “Clear saved preferences” removes it, and closing the tab ends it.

Carrying your choices to the form

Quick-start choices such as a destination, a date or the number of travellers are carried to the enquiry form in the web address. Contact details never are.

The visa starter keeps your passport nationality, country of residence and purpose of travel in the tab’s session storage (lynksafe-handoff) for up to ten minutes, so they are not added to the web address. They are removed as soon as the enquiry form reads them.

Staff sign-in

When authorised LynkSafe staff sign in to manage the website, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep them signed in securely (their names begin with “wordpress_” or “wp-”). These are not set for visitors.

If this changes

Any future analytics, advertising or embedded services would need a fresh assessment and appropriate consent controls before they load.
